AWS POS uses the storefront to let customers browse stores, hold items in a cart, and continue into checkout. This page explains the basic information handled during that flow.

Information we use

• Storefront searches, cart contents, and selected stores to support ordering.
• Account details such as name, email, and approval status when you sign in.
• Checkout and order data required to process payments and fulfill orders.

How information is used

Data is used to operate the storefront, maintain cart state, complete orders, and support account security and auditing. Administrative users may also review order data inside AWS POS to handle service, fulfillment, and reporting.
